IMMUNE POWER DIET: MAKE YOUR VITAMINS EASY TO SWALLOW
Some of my patients find it inconvenient to have to juggle so many vitamin and mineral pills. It can be a chore to remember, store, and even swallow, a whole arsenal of pills. And the more trouble it is, the less you will want to stick with the program. Here are three good tips I give my patients so they can build vitamins into their lives with the least amount of bother.
Multi-vitamins combine several vitamins, and some minerals, into one, easy-to-take pill or capsule. You can probably find one that contains several of the vitamins you need. Don't worry if the doses vary slightly from my recommendations. As long as the formula contains vitamins in approximately the recommended proportions, they will work, and will make it easier to get the nutrients you need.
You can buy a small pill holder at any drug store. Many patients find these are helpful to keep a day's supply of supplements in order. They sort their pills once, and then divide them into each compartment.
Certain vitamins work best if taken at a specific time of day. Although vitamins Ñ and E can be taken any time during the day or evening, vitamins A and D are most effective if taken in the morning, and vitamin  complex can be taken in the morning or early afternoon.
